About
The Computer Information Systems program provides students with first-hand knowledge of the hardware, software, and operations of personal computers used in business and industry today. The program combines job-simulated projects and actual campus IT work, providing students with a true “hands-on” learning experience.
Students graduating with a Computer User Support Specialist diploma will be able to setup, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair laptops, PCs, mobile devices, and network equipment. They will be able to provide technical assistance to computer users in person, via telephone, or electronically. They will be able to provide assistance with computer hardware and software, including printing, installation, word processing, email, and operating systems.
