Thirty eight students graduated from the practical nursing program at TCAT Elizabethton during a pinning ceremony held in the Monarch Auditorium of Bristol Regional Medical Center at 10 a.m. Tuesday, April 24, 2018. 

The Practical Nursing program, which takes 12-months to complete, prepares students for the Tennessee Board of Nursing examination to become a Licensed Practical Nurse. Students at TCAT Elizabethton are pictured preparing for the exam.

Practical nursing classes are offered at the TCAT Elizabethton Main Campus, 426 Highway 91 North in Elizabethton, beginning in May and September each year, and on the ETSU at Kingsport Campus at Allandale, 1501 University Blvd., Kingsport, beginning in January.

New student registration for the 2018 Summer Trimester will be held May 1 for students previously admitted to TCAT Elizabethton. The TCAT application for admission is available in the Administration Building at the Main Campus, 426 Highway 91 North, across from the Elizabethton Municipal Airport.

Financial assistance is also available.  Students must complete the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA), via the internet at www.fafsa.ed.gov, to determine financial need. The TCAT Elizabethton code, #005281, must be included on the FAFSA form.
