Five students at TCAT Elizabethton were medalists in the recent SkillsUSA state competition held in Chattanooga. Gold medalists advance to the national SkillsUSA competition in Louisville, Ky., June 20-24.
Gold medalists were Jerry Kramer of Carter County in Welding Action Skills and Ashley Vance of Carter County in Customer Service. Silver medalist was Abigail Fowler of Carter County in Cosmetology. Bronze medalists were Max Burgner of Washington County in Welding and David Floyd of Carter County in Telecommunications Cabling.
