TCAT Elizabethton students interested in starting their own business got a primer recently on how to do just that from the director and assistant director of the ETSU Innovation Lab.

In the other photo, Audrey Depelteau, director, assists Chasity Blevins, Administrative Office Technology student from Mountain City, develop a business plan for her “Nifty Thrifty Boutique” she plans to open.
Depelteau and Lewis explained the various aspects of opening and operating a successful startup business during the 90 minute presentation and interaction with students who are enrolled in various training programs that take 12 to 20 months to complete. Graduation for the current term at TCAT Elizabethton will be held Aug. 11.
